Mera Peak 6476m is located in Solukhumbu District,Everest region in Nepal. it is Far and above the most rewarding aspect of a trip. A trek to Mera is a chance to venture into a little-visited and as yet unspoiled region of Nepal. There is also the pleasure of going above 6,000 m.
You will have excellent views of five morethan 8000m-peaks in Nepal like Mt.Everest 8848m, Lhotse8393m,Makalu 8468M, Mt.Choyou8188m,Kangchenjunga 8586m and other spectacular snowcaped peaks. This is a great trek and climb in an ancient land where Sherpa’s still graze yaks, cook on yak dung fires and live a very simple life. Porters to make our trip more enjoyable and culturally interesting will carry our food and equipment.
There are many approaches to Mera; some are easy and some require the crossing of high and difficult passes, making a trek to the peak a real mountaineering adventure for which effort is rewarded with spectacular scenery and ultimately one of the finest viewpoints in Nepal.
Mera peak is the most popular trekking destination and is the highest trekking peaks in Nepal. This peak is located south of Everest in the hinku valley and is relatively easier to climb then most. The ascent of the peak is technically straightforward, however, the heavy snow and the maze of crevasses can make the way longer to the summit.

Welcome to Tribuvan International Airport Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. We’ll be waiting with a warm greeting with traditional Khata and easy transfer to your Hotel. Check in hotel and then briefing about trek and early fights-out timing and introduction with your guide and staffs.
Discuss the trek properly with our guide today. Your gears will be reviewed and checked for proper usage. In the evening, Our experienced guide will fully brief you about the trekking trails and summit. Get ready for your trek tomorrow.
After you've landed at Lukla by flight (35 mins). You'll be guided to one of the lodges for a tea break of 30 mins. After the tea break we will start our journey to Paiya, and trek for about 5-6 hours. Overnight at Paiya.
After the breakfast, we head towards the trail to Panggom. The Dudhkoshi valley, where we will be passing has always made an impressive presence towards the tourists. Overnight at Panggom.
Today we trek to Ningsow, so the trail will be about 4-5 hours. We will be crossing Peseng Kharka Khola and Ningsow Khola before reaching to Ningsow village. Overnight at Ningsow.
After the breakfast, we will start our trek. On the way, we will reach Ramailo Danda, where we will be able to see the stunning view of Mera Peak. Then, we enter the Makalu Barun National Park. Our trail from here to Chhatra Khola is called Pasang Lhamu trail. Overnight at Chhatra Khola.
Today we will reach Kothe. The trail will be alongside the Majang Khola, leading up to another trail alongside Hinku Khola. Before reaching Kothe, we will be crossing Sanu Khola. Overnight at Kothe.
As we keep moving alongside the Hinku Khola and passing Gondishung, we will find 200-year-old Lungsumgba Gompa where we can find Mera Peak scripted in rock along with its route to reach Mera. Overnight at Thaknak.
Today we will pass through Dig Kharka. The northern face of Mera Peak will be seen greatly on the route. Overnight at Khare.
Today is considered as an acclimatization day, our guide will train you for tomorrow's climb. Boosting up your confidence and ability, our guide will teach you every parts of the climbing gears such as the ice axe, climbing boots, harness, ascender, etc. preparing you and the team for the climb. Overnight at Khare.
Today we will head higher towards the high camp. After preparing for the climb the day before, we will start our trail to the high camp. The trail is rockier than before. After reaching the high camp, we setup our camp and enjoy the magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu, the south face of Lhotse, Nuptse, Chamlang and Baruntse. Overnight at High Camp.
We wake up early in the morning, around 1-2 am. Then we have our breakfast and start our journey ahead. Everyone should make sure of their climbing gears and follow the instructions of the team leader thoroughly. The climb can be considered moderate to hard. Mt. Everest, Cho-Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, Kangchenjunga, Nuptse, Chamlang, Baruntse and other himalayas can be seen perfectly from the summit. We spend some time on the summit and then we return back to Khare where we previously stayed overnight. Overnight at Khare.
Today we return back to Khare along the same trails we previously arrived from. the re-visit to Kothe will be refreshingly good as we descend on a larger scale of height. Overnight at Kothe.
After the breakfast we head towards Thuli kharka. Witness some spectacular views of the nature along the way. Overnight at Thuli kharka.
Today we will be reaching Lukla by passing the Zatrwa-La pass at 4,600 meters. After crossing the pass we will see the beautiful Lukla valley surrounded by many himalayas such as Kongde Peak, Numbur Himal, Kusum Khangru and others. After reaching Lukla, we will be having a feast with all the team. Overnight at Lukla.
Enjoy your flight towards the capital. As we arrive back at Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your Hotel where you stayed before. This day can be considered to freely roam around the Thamel area to shop and stroll around. overnight at Kathmandu.
This day will be manged per your decision, whether you and your team will be freely roaming around the hotel area or taking a tour with our city guide. A Farewell Dinner will be Hosted.
Our staffs will be helping you to reach the airport. You will be dropped at the airport on our reserved vehicle.
