Overview
Jomsom Muktinath Tour ,Muktinath is the most famous temple as well as important pilgrimage site for both Buddhist and Hindu. Jomsom Muktinath lies in Lower Mustang, so we can say it lower Mustang tour as well as. There is white painted wall complex, as entrance gate is Tibetan style linked by prayer wheels. In this compound, main point is 108 sacred brass water spouts. The number 108 is sacred number in both religious. And another interesting thing is the Goddess of fire, in local language known as “Jwalamai”, it is a monastery. Inside the building, holy and nature gas flame behind a grill just above running water, which is holy water as well, pours through a cow’s mouth spewing out.
If you have flexible time,you can hike to Jhong where villages and monasteries on the north bank of Jhong khola/stream. It is a traditionally part of Mustang. And until several years before to visit this side was limited, it is permitted to visit the Chorming village of Jhong.
It is yours choice to how to start the tour, first you can drive all the way to Muktinath by local buses or private vehicle then fly back from Jomsom to Pokhara. And second option is flying to Jomsom then drive round trip. In this tour, drive along the Kaligandaki and seen the mountains view either during fly or drive as well touch yours heart by Upper Mustang landscape. It is rough/grabble rod not black top road. Peak summit Trek representative guide Pick you up at Tribhuvan International Airport transferring you to the hotel, you will see us waiting for you at Tribhuvan International Airport with your name on a board. Our crew will help you get to your hotel and check-in. our guides will briefing you about the time and explain details your program. After that, you can rest and relieve yourself from the fatigue or traveling from far away. Later in the evening, you can go out to visit the local market to buy things you may like and find a nice restaurant for yourself or also guide will take you for your Dinner.

Day 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara by Drive / Flight

Wake up early in the morning and take a Breakfast at 6:30am and get ready and drive to pokhara (200km) around 7:30 AM. It will take 6-7hrs driving from Kathmandu to pokhara. On the way bus will stop around 30 minutes for a lunch and also bus will stop 5-10 minutes for toilets every 2hours drive. You will reach pokhara around after 2:00 pm and at transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day is free. You can rest and relieve yourself from the traveling to long drive. And guide will take you for the dinner. Overnight at Hotel, Pokhara

Day 3 : Pokhara to Jomsom via flight and drive to Muktinath 3710m

Wake up early in the morning, get ready and drive to pokhara Domestic airport and fly to Jomsom (25min). You can enjoy seeing the beautiful scenery of snowcapped mountain and villages. Arrive at Jomsom airport and walk to Hotel 5 minutes from hotel, after short break get ready and drive smooth road to Ranipauwa. On the way you can enjoy the scenery of natural beautiful places, Himalayas, Buddhist Monastery and Kagbeni village. Arrival at Ranipauwa (3710m) and walk to Hotel 5minutes from Jeep stop. Take a rest for half an hour and walk to 30 minutes to Muktinath Temple where you can take blessings and enjoy see the 108 water spouts named “Muktidhara” where Hindhu pilgrimage will have bathing before their blessings. After blessings walk to “Jwalamai Temple” Buddhist Monastery –where you can see the continuously burning flame on water and stone, and then back to Ranipauwa,Hotel and take a Lunch. Early in the morning we take a Breakfast and walk to Jomsom Airport and Fly to Pokhara (25min). Arrival at pokhara airport and transfer to Hotel. Half day sightseeing in pokhara (International Mountain Museum, Davis falls, Mahendra cave, fewa lake boating) and stroll along lake side and after having dinner we will get back to the Hotel. Overnight pokhara.

(Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple) You will visit two of the most important Buddhist sites, Swoyambhu Nath and Bouddha Nath cherished equally by people of all religions and believed to be symbols of peace. You will also visit palaces and temple showcasing brilliant architectures. After returning, you can stroll around the streets of Thamel where you can find shops selling amazing arts, handicrafts and other things you can buy as souvenirs.
