Overview

Annapurna base camp trek is  one of the popular trekking trail in Annapurna region. This trek offers the quickest way to get to high Himalayan altitudes where glaciers replace rivers. Ascending the foothills from Pokhara, appreciating the slate-roofed tropical villages and magnificent rhododendron forests gorge. When you climb higher you will get to the hidden world of the Annapurna Sanctuary. The huge south face of Annapurna 8,091 m provides an impressive backdrop, while the closeness of 10 peaks over 6,000 m. including Hiunchuli, Fang, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare inspire a delicious joy as a fitting highlight of this spectacular trek.

Annapurna base camp trek is more distinct than any other Nepal trekking by its variety of people, rich culture, beautiful landscapes and natural scenery. Annapurna base camp trekking lends you to North West of Pokhara through an ancient trek to Tibet across glaciers, gorges and waterfalls. From the Annapurna Base Camp you will have a close look of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchhare. A natural amphitheater, ringed by Annapurna south 7,219 m. and I, Varahashikhar 7,847 m, Gangapurna 7,485 m. and Machhapuchhare 6,993 m, it serves as base camp for expeditions as well as favorite trek destination for mountain lovers.

  • Day 5 : Trek from Chhomrong (2,170m) to Bamboo (2,310m)

  • Day 6 : Trek from Bamboo (2,310m) to Deurali (3,230m)

  • Day 7 : Trek from Deurali (3,230m) to Machhapuchhe Base Camp (3,700m)

  • Day 8 : Trek from Machhapuchare Base Camp (3,700m) to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)

  • Day 9 : Trek from Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) to Bamboo (2,310m)

  • Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu

    Welcome to Tribuvan International Airport Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. We’ll be waiting with a warm greeting with traditional Khata and easy transfer to your Hotel. Check in hotel and then briefing about trek and early fights-out timing and introduction with your guide and staffs.

  • Day 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara (25 mins flight), Pokhara to Australian Camp (1/2 hrs drive)
    • Altitude: 1,880 m
    • Duration: 3-4 hours

    Enjoy your flight to Pokhara for about 25 minutes. You will be seeing the majestic views of glorious Manaslu Peaks, Annapurna, and Langtang Himalaya range during your flight. Pokhara (1,400 m) which is located in the Western Development Region of the country is certainly the best place for tourists to spend some holidays. A drive from Pokhara to Australian Camp. Overnight at Australian Camp.

  • Day 3 : Trek from Australian Camp (1,880m) to Landruk (1,565m)
    • Altitude: 1,565 m
    • Duration: 5-6 Hours

    Witness the early morning scenery from Australian Camp. The scenery will be one of a kind, so get your lenses ready. After the breakfast, we will start our journey towards Landruk. The journey will be a smooth one with descends. Overnight at Landruk.

  • Day 4 : Trek from Landruk (1,565m) to Chhomrong (2,170m)(
    • Altitude: 2,170 m
    • Duration: 6 hours

    After a good breakfast, we will be heading towards Chhomrong. The trek will be a descend to Nayapool and after crossing a long bridge of amazing height, we will have to ascend up to Jhinu Danda where we will have our lunch. Then, we will ascend more and reach Chhomrong. Overnight at Chhomrong.

  • Day 5 : Trek from Chhomrong (2,170m) to Bamboo (2,310m)
    • Altitude: 2,310 m
    • Duration: 4-5 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge

    After crossing the bridge above Chhomrong khola, we will have to ascent our way up to Sinuwa. We will come across a beautiful forest which will lead to Bamboo. Overnight at Bamboo.

  • Day 6 : Trek from Bamboo (2,310m) to Deurali (3,230m)
    • Altitude: 3,230 m
    • Duration: 3-4 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge

    We pass through the bamboo forest and ascent to Deurali. This route particularly gives us a beautiful scenery of the valley. Overnight at Deurali.

  • Day 7 : Trek from Deurali (3,230m) to Machhapuchhe Base Camp (3,700m)
    • Altitude: 3,700 m
    • Duration: 5- 6 hours

    On this day, head towards Annapurna Base Camp by passing through Machhapuchre Base Camp. From Machhapuchre Base Camp we will be able to see Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. After Machhapuchre Base Camp, we will head towards Annapurna sanctuary. As we enter the sanctuary we get to see Annapurna quiet near to us. Reaching Machhapuchare Base Camp, we again get to see Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South , Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks. Overnight at Machhapuchare Base Camp.

  • Day 8 : Trek from Machhapuchare Base Camp (3,700m) to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)
    • Altitude: 4,130 m
    • Duration: 2.5 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge
    • Meal: B L D

    Despite Annapurna Base Camp being close to Machapuchare Base Camp, we had to stay overnight at MBC to acclimatize with the higher places properly. The acclimatization will help for further elevation. After the breakfast we will head towards the Annapurna Base Camp, where we will be witnessing an awesome panoramic view of various mountains.   • Day 9 : Trek from Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) to Bamboo (2,310m)
    • Altitude: 2,310 m
    • Duration: 7–8 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge
    • Meal: B L D

    We will wake up early for the sunrise to be seen. After taking some sunrise shots, we will have our breakfast and then we will start our trek as usual. Returning from the same route we first came from, we will reach Bamboo. Overnight at Bamboo.

  • Day 10 : Trek from Bamboo (2,310m) to Jhinu Dhanda (1,760m)
    • Altitude: 1,760 m
    • Duration: 5-6 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge
    • Meal: B L D

    Today we will be reaching Jhinu Dhanda. On the way, we will pass Chhomrong. Then we will descend our way to Jhinu Dhanda. Just 10-15 mins walk downhill from Jhinu Dhanda we get to enjoy the Hot Springs. Overnight at Jhinu Dhanda.

  • Day 11 : Trek from Jhinu dhanda (1,760m) to Nayapul (1,070m), Nayapul to Pokhara (1 hr drive)
    • Altitude: 830 m
    • Duration: 6-7 hours
    • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel
    • Meal: B L D

    We will trek from Jhinu Dhanda to Nayapul for almost 5-6 hrs. After reaching Nayapul, we will be driving our way back to Pokhara. Overnight at pokhara

  • Day 12 : Pokhara to Kathmandu (6 hours drive)
    • Altitude: 1,350 m
    • Duration: 6-7 hours
    • Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel
    • Meal: B D

    On this day, we will be leaving Pokhara by bus. witness the scenic hills and rivers on the way to Kathmandu. You will be transferred to your Hotel where you stayed before. A Farewell dinner will be hosted.

  • Day 13 : Departure from Kathmandu

    Our staffs will be helping you to reach the airport. You will be dropped at the airport on our reserved vehicle.
