If you intend to embark on an adventure through Peak Summit Trek and mountaineering pvt.ltd. You are required to book a trip at least 3 months prior to it. A three months preparation period is necessary to ensure maximum safety and satisfaction to the clients.

GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS
For Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan Tours, It is obligatory for the clients to 30% deposit of the total cost of the trip should be provided to us by you while booking the trip. The advance amount will be used for is necessary for booking hotels, flights, porters and receiving approval from governmental authorities. The 30% deposit amount is non-refundable.
The remaining amount can be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu before the start of your trek/tour /expedition.
Requirement documents for booking
Note: Regarding the Bhutan and Tibet tours, you need to pay the balance of total amount one month’s days prior to your departure date if you intend to fly to those countries directly. We will process your visa and tour permit for Tibet and Bhutan only received your payment. We reserve our right to cancel your trip if you could not make your payment within our stipulated time.

RISK AND LIABILITIES
All of the Nepal, China and Bhutan tours are conducted under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of the respective country. We are not liable for any changes or cancellations of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like change in the rules and regulations of country, any government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability, cancellations of flights, delays, sickness or accidents, breakdown of vehicles, etc. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall have to be borne by the clients themselves. Therefore, travel insurance is highly recommended.
LAST MINUTE BOOKING
We even accept last minute booking. You can book a trip to Nepal 3 days prior to the trip departure dates. However, last minute bookings may not be acceptable in case of Bhutan or Tibet trip.
POSTPONE THE TRIP
TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY (NEPAL)
In case you intend to cancel your trip for any reason, you need to write it to us 14 days prior to your trip departure date. We shall approve it as cancelled only after receiving a valid written notice from the client.
As per our policy, the 30% deposit amount is non-refundable therefore, in case any occurrences arise that you might need to cancel the trip, we rather recommend you to postpone your trip against of cancelling it. Since doing so will deduct from your advance 10% of total cost deposit as the postpone fee and remaining amount after that deduction will be transferred as your balance amount for your next trip with us.
TRIP CANCELLATION (BHUTAN)
A valid written notice of cancellation should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case you cancel your Bhutan tour, 30% of the trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge. The amount is non-refundable.
TRIP CANCELLATION (TIBET)
A valid written notice of cancellation should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case you cancel your Tibet tour, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge. The amount is non-refundable.
INCOMPLETE TOUR
We are not liable for any refunds in case of any incomplete tour, trek or expedition whatever the reason from customer’s side hi/her personal decision or injury, high altitude sickness /any disaster in the area.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
If your trip gets cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, war or unfavorable climatic conditions, we will arrange another trip for you. So, even if your trip won’t be the one you had chosen, your money will not go in vain.
PRICE CHANGING
We reserve our rights to change the price under various circumstances. Though our actions will be reasonable, like in case of circumstances such as drastic changes in the exchange rate, inflations or government actions, we are not liable to answer anyone for our actions.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is mandatory to have a comprehensive travel insurance package to all our clients to join any of our adventures. A government act dictates that no foreigner will be able to purchase insurance in Nepal. Hence, it is important for the clients to purchase a travel insurance package in their own country. Trekking and expedition may involve risks and several other factors that cannot be foretold. Medical emergencies, natural calamities are common in high altitudes and we like to be assured that our clients are insured against helicopter evacuations, trip cancellations, and personal accidents so that they don’t have to suffer twice.
This our agency will inquire about client’s personal and insurance information so that proper steps and paper works can be done in case of unpredictable situation. If somehow a rescue is needed, our company PST will contact rescue companies and will manage all the paper works.
It is to be noted that the company shall not bear any losses or provide compensation in case the guest’s insurance doesn’t cover any or all aspects of the trip.
FLIGHT DELAY/CANCELLATION
Flight delays and cancellation are likely to happen often during bad weather conditions in remote areas, particularly in the Everest region, the Annapurna region, Dolpo, Simikot and Jumla region. Therefore, it is advisable to carry some extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. NHT will not be responsible for any of the additional expenses. Therefore, please plan accordingly.
DURING THE TOUR
In case you commit any unlawful act during your tour and you are compelled to leave Nepal, NHT is not liable for any kind of refunds.
