Gokyo Renjo-La pass Trek (5,435 m) in one of the famous passes in Nepal, as it lies in the Everest Region. Different mountains can be seen from this pass with a 360 degree view. You will also get to see where Gokyo settles near the lake. Rare species such as Musk Deer, Wild mountain goat, Lophophorus, Snow leopard, Pheasants, Mountain Hawk, Snow duck can be seen on our route. You will also find different types of plants and shrubs along the way. The Everest Region is mainly filled with Buddhist culture. Mostly Tibetan Buddhism is found in this area.
We come across the famous Gokyo Lakes while trekking on this route. Gokyo Lakes are oligotrophic lakes in Nepal’s Sagarmatha National Park, located at an altitude of 4,700–5,000 m above sea levels. Gokyo is among the most popular tourist destinations leading towards the Sagarmatha base camp and other areas. The Gokyo Lakes are also part of an extended Everest Base Camp trek known as the EBC trek via Gokyo Lakes. There are a total of 5 lakes at Gokyo. The Gokyo Lakes are considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists. About 500 Hindus take a holy bath in the lakes during the Janai Purnima festival, which usually occurs in the month of August. Gokyo village at 4,790 metres (15,720 ft) elevation is a major centre in the area.
Welcome to Tribuvan International Airport Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. We’ll be waiting with a warm greeting with traditional Khata and easy transfer to your Hotel. Check in hotel and then briefing about trek and early fights-out timing and introduce with your guide and staffs.
Right after you've arrived at Lukla (35 mins flight),You will get to feel the change in the atmosphere. Lukla which lies at 2,860 m high above the sea-level is one of the most interesting villages in Nepal. A 15-20 mins tea break at a lodge will be accompanied. After the Tea-break we start our journey towards the route to Phakding.
On our Third day we head towards Khumbu's famous village "Namche Bazaar". On our way we will be entering the Sagarmatha National Park. You may find different types of wild animals and birds around this area.
On this day we will be heading Towards Hotel Everest View, which lies on the height of . A tea/coffee break will be accompanied, while having your tea/coffee you will witness the spectacular view of Mt. Everest,Ama Dablam and Thami. After that will be returning to Namche for Lunch. Namche is a place to chill and relax as there are pubs and bars, cafes and shops.
On this day, we will be hiking our way to Dole. On our way we will pass through a wonderful rhododendron and birch forest.
On the way get ready to be mesmerized by the views of Kantega,Cho-Oyu and Thamserku. The way is pretty peaceful and quiet.
On the way to Gokyo, we will be hiking around rocky steps and spectacular himalayan view. You will be able to see some few villages across the river too. After taking steps up the rocky path, you will witness the first lake
On this day, we reach at the top of Gokyo-Ri also known as Gokyo peak early in the morning for sunrise. Witness the spectacular panoramic view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. After that, we will return back to the Tea-House at Gokyo.
Today we will be hiking our way up-to Renjo-La. We will be taking packed lunch today because there won't be any lodges at Renjo-La Pass. The journey to Renjo-La is quite interesting as we find a lot of people hiking there too. From Renjo-La you will be able to see the panoramic view of famous mountains in the Everest region. Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, etc. You will be thrilled to see the view from this pass. As we take our time taking pictures and resting, we head down towards the other side of the pass. While heading down towards Lumde, we may be able to see Yak caravans. A large amount of Yaks with a beautiful scenery of the Bhote-Koshi valley. We will stay our night at Lumde.
Today we make our way down to the beautiful village of Thame. The village will be peaceful enough to make you calm and refreshing.
We head towards Namche for lunch, and then we head downwards to Phakding on the same route we first hiked. We will stay our night at Phakding
As for this day we will head slowly towards Lukla. After reaching Lukla, You'll have plenty of time to stroll around the village and shops or cafes. In the evening, there will be a dinner with our staffs who helped you reach your destination.
Enjoy your flight towards the capital. As we arrive back at Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your Hotel where you stayed before. This day is can be considered to freely roam around the Thamel area to shop and stroll around.
This day will be manged per your decision, whether you and your team will be freely roaming around the hotel area or taking a tour with our city guide. A Farewell Dinner will be Hosted.
Our staffs will be helping you to reach the airport. You will be dropped at the airport on our reserved vehicle.
