Overview
Everest Gokyo Trek is considered to be one of the most interesting and moderate trek. The village lies at an elevation of 4,750 meters (15,580 ft) making it one of the highest settlements in Nepal. Gokyo Lakes are oligotrophic lakes in Nepal’s Sagarmatha National Park, located at an altitude of 4,700–5,000 m above sea levels. Gokyo is among the most popular tourist destinations leading towards the Everest base camp and other areas. There are a total of 5 lakes at Gokyo.
The Gokyo Lakes are considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists. About 500 Hindus take a holy bath in the lakes during the Janai Purnima festival, which usually occurs in the month of August. Gokyo village at 4,790 metres (15,720 ft) elevation is a major center in the area.

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu

Welcome to Tribuvan International Airport Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. We’ll be waiting with a warm greeting with traditional Khata and easy transfer to your Hotel. Check in hotel and then briefing about trek and early fights-out timing and introduce with your guide and staffs.

Day 2 : Kathmandu to Lukla (by flight) and Trek from Lukla (2,860m) to Phakding (2,610m)

Right after you've arrived at Lukla (35 mins flight),You will get to feel the change in the atmosphere. Lukla which lies at 2,860 m high above the sea-level is one of the most interesting villages in Nepal. A 15-20 mins tea break at a lodge will be accompanied. After the Tea-break we start our journey towards the route to Phakding. On the way you'll be seeing different types of small houses and lodges, plants and animals. Overnight at Phakding.

Day 3 : Trek from Phakding (2,610m) to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

On our Third day we head towards Khumbu's famous village "Namche Bazaar". On our way we will be entering the Sagarmatha National Park. You may find different types of wild animals and birds around this area. Overnight at Namche

Day 4 : Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day, Hike up to Hotel Everest View (3,860m) & return back to Namche

On this day we will be heading Towards Hotel Everest View, which lies on the height of . A tea/coffee break will be accompanied, while having your tea/coffee you will witness the spectacular view of Mt. Everest,Ama Dablam and Thami. After that will be returning to Namche for Lunch. Namche is a place to relax as there are pubs and bars, cafes and shops. Overnight at Namche.

Day 5 : Trek from Namche (3,860m) to Dole (4,200m)

On this day, we will be hiking our way to Dole. On our way we will pass through a wonderful rhododendron and birch forest. overnight at Dole.

Day 6 : Trek from Dole (4,200m) to Machhermo (4,470m)

- Duration: 4-5 hours

On the way get ready to be mesmerized by the views of Kantega,Cho-Oyu and Thamserku. The way is pretty peaceful and quiet. overnight at Machhermo.

Day 7 : Trek from Machhermo (4,470m) to Gokyo (4,790m)

On the way to Gokyo, we will be hiking around rocky steps and spectacular himalayan view. You will be able to see some few villages across the river too. After taking steps up the rocky path, you will witness the first lake. Overnight at Gokyo.

Day 8 : Gokyo Acclimatization Day, Hike up to Gokyo-Ri (5,360m) and return back to Gokyo

On this day, we reach at the top of Gokyo-Ri also known as Gokyo peak early in the morning for sunrise. Witness the spectacular panoramic view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. After that, we will return back to the Tea-House at Gokyo. Then we hike our way to the fifth lake and spend some time around the area. Overnight at Gokyo.

Day 9 : Trek from Gokyo (4,790m) to Dole (4,200m)

We will return to the same route as we came across. The same route of rocky steps and amazing views. Overnight at Dole

Today we head towards Namche Bazaar. as we skip one camp because the route is more downhill this time. Overnight at Namche.

Day 11 : Trek from Namche Bazaar (3,440m) to Phakding (2,610m)

We return to Phakding on this day. The great downhill will not disappoint you as it will make our trek much more faster. We will go through the same route we first came from. Overnight at phakding.

Day 12 : Trek from Phakding (2,610m) to Lukla (2,860m)

As for this day we will head slowly towards Lukla. After reaching Lukla, You'll have plenty of time to stroll around the village and shops or cafes. In the evening, there will be a dinner with our staffs who helped you reach your destination. Overnight at Lukla.

Day 13 : Lukla to Kathmandu by flight

Enjoy your flight towards the capital. As we arrive back at Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your Hotel where you stayed before. This day can be considered to freely roam around the Thamel area to shop and stroll around.

Day 14 : Kathmandu Free Day/ Sight-Seeing Day

This day will be manged per your decision, whether you and your team will be freely roaming around the hotel area or taking a tour with our city guide. A Farewell Dinner will be Hosted.

Day 15 : Departure from Kathmandu

Our staffs will be helping you to reach the airport. You will be dropped at the airport on our reserved vehicle.
