Everest Kalapatthar trek is the second most famous trekking route in Nepal. People around the world tend to choose this trek to view the magnificent panoramic view of the Everest region. You will find Buddhist culture all over this region. Discover different spots in this region as there are various plants and vegetation, animals and birds. This place is also good for researchers and photographers. You will also make your way through “Namche Bazaar” the gateway to Everest.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu

    Welcome to Tribuvan International Airport Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. We’ll be waiting with a warm greeting with traditional Khata and easy transfer to your Hotel. Check in hotel and then briefing about trek and early fights-out timing and introduction with your guide and staffs.

  • Day 2 : Kathmandu to Lukla (by flight) and Trek from Lukla (2,860m) to Phakding (2,610m)
    • Altitude: 2,610m
    • Duration: 4-5 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge

    After you've landed at Lukla by flight (35 mins). You'll be guided to one of the lodges for a tea break of 30 mins. After the tea break we will be starting our journey towards the route.

  • Day 3 : Trek from Phakding (2,610m) to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
    • Altitude: 3,440m
    • Duration: 4-5 hours

    On our Third day we head towards Khumbu's famous village "Namche Bazaar". On our way we will be entering the Sagarmatha National Park. On our way, you may find some wild animals and birds roaming. You will find a change in trees and plants as the height increases.

  • Day 4 : Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day, Hike up to Hotel Everest View (3,860m) & return back to Namche
    • Altitude: 3,860m
    • Duration: 3-4 hours

    On this day we will be heading Towards Hotel Everest View, which lies on the height of . A tea/coffee break will be accompanied, after that will be returning to Namche for Lunch. Namche is a place to chill and relax as there are pubs and bars, cafes and shops.

  • Day 5 : Trek from Namche (3,860m) to Tyangboche (3,890m)
    • Altitude: 3,890m
    • Duration: 5-6 hours

    We walk our way from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche. Get to view the amazing view of himalayas from Tyangboche

  • Day 6 : Trek from Tyangboche (3,890m) to Dingboche (4,410m)
    • Altitude: 4,410m
    • Duration: 6 hours

    We make our way towards Dingboche. Dingboche is a popular stop for trekkers and climbers headed to Mount Everest, Ama Dablam or Imja Tse. Almost everyone stays at Dingboche for 2 nights for acclimatization.

  • Day 7 : Dingboche Acclimatization Day, Hike up to Nangkartsang Peak (5,083m) & return back to Dingboche
    • Altitude: 5,083m
    • Duration: 3 hours

    Today we will be reaching at "Nangkartsang Danda/Peak" for a proper acclimatization. The peak offers spectacular views of Ama Dablam (6812m), Makalu (8485m), Lhotse (8516m), Kantega(6782m) and Cho Oyu (6160m). Then we will be returning our way back to Dingboche for overnight stay.

  • Day 8 : Trek from Dingboche (4,410m) to Lobuche (4,940m)
    • Altitude: 4,940m
    • Duration: 6 hours

    We head our way to Lobuche. Lobuche is also the route to Everest Base Camp, which makes place a busy with sherpas and porters.

  • Day 9 : From Lobuche (4,940m) to Gorakshep (5,147m)
    • Altitude: 5,147m
    • Duration: 3-4 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge
    • Meal: B L D

    The trek continues as the route leads us to Gorakshep. Gorakshep is a frozen lakebed covered with sand. Gorakshep was originally the true Everest base camp, but later the camp was moved closer to the mountain.

  • Day 10 : Trek from Gorakshep (5,147m) to Kalapatthar (5,644m) and return back to Lobuche (4,940m)
    • Altitude: 5,644m - 4,940m
    • Duration: 6 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge
    • Meal: B L D

    After breakfast, we will reach at Kalapatthar at the height of 5,644m. Kala Patthar, meaning 'black rock' in Nepali. The views of Everest, Nuptse and Changtse are amazingly great from Kalapatthar. After spending some time and resting at Kalapatthar. We will head our way back to Lobuche for our overnight stay.

  • Day 11 : Trek from Lobuche (4,940m) to phunki Thanga (3,890m)
    • Altitude: 3,890m
    • Duration: 5 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge

    While returning back to Tyangboche, we won't be returning on the same route we came before. We will use the route of Pheriche instead of Dingboche. We will be reaching Phunki Thanga on this day.

  • Day 12 : Trek from Phunki Thanga (3,890m) to Phakding (2,610m)
    • Altitude: 2,610m
    • Duration: 6 hours

    We cross our way through Namche and back to Monjo for Lunch. We will be making our way slowly towards Phakding for over-night stay.

  • Day 13 : Trek from Phakding (2,610m) to Lukla (2,860m)
    • Altitude: 2,860m
    • Duration: 3-4 hours
    • Accommodation: Lodge
    • Meal: B L D

    Today we will return back to Lukla slowly. After you've reached Lukla, you will have plenty of time to shop and stroll around the bazaar area. There will be a final gathering dinner with the staffs at the lodge.

  • Day 14 : Lukla to Kathmandu by flight

    • Duration: 35 mins
    • Accommodation: Hotel

    Enjoy your flight towards the capital. As we arrive back at Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your Hotel where you stayed before. This day is can be considered to freely roam around the Thamel area to shop and stroll around.

  • Day 15 : Kathmandu Sight-seeing Day/ Free day
    • Altitude: 1,350m
    • Duration: 1 day
    • Accommodation: Hotel
    • Meal: B D

    This day will be manged per your decision, whether you and your team will be freely roaming around the hotel area or taking a tour with our city guide. If you are willing to tour around the city for sight-seeing, then we will be the touring the capital city of Nepal. We will be visiting different historical places and heritage sites. We will be having our lunch at a wonderful restaurant. Sight-seeing expenses are not included in the package. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner hosted for the team with some of our staffs.

  • Day 16 : Departure from Kathmandu
    • Meal: B

    Our staffs will be helping you to reach the airport. You will be dropped at the airport on our reserved vehicle.
