Overview
Gosaikunda Lake trek is for those who has short period of time and want to witness the majestic Himalayas. Gosaikunda Lake is one of the holy lake where Hindus and Buddhists often visit. Gosainkunda trek begins right from Shivapuri national park in the northern rim of Kathmandu valley providing the magnificent view of the snow peaks from the first day itself. Walk through the subtropical forest to alpine zone with Rhododendron, Oak, pine and birch, finally climbing above the tree line. The trek could be combined with Surya peak (5,100 m) trekking/climbing, Langtang valley trek and Ama Yangri peak (3,771 m) climbing in Helambu. The lake is located at the height of 4,380 meters above sea level. Visit the Langtang region’s most famous trekking route in a short period of time. First timers can to do this trek swiftly.

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu

Welcome to Tribuvan International Airport Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. We’ll be waiting with a warm greeting with traditional Khata and easy transfer to your Hotel. Check in hotel and then briefing about trek and early fights-out timing and introduction with your guide and staffs.

Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Dunche (2,100m)

We will start our ride after a good breakfast at the Hotel. Witness the natural beauties along the way during your travel. Overnight at Dunche.

Day 3 : Trek from Dunche (2,100m) to Chandan Bari (3,330m)
- Altitude: 3,330 m
- Duration: 5-6 hours

We start our trek from Dunche early in the morning after our breakfast. Dive into the nature and trek your way slowly upto Chandan Bari. Overnight at Chandan Bari.

Day 4 : Trek from Chandan Bari (3,330m) to Gosaikunda (4,380m)

- Duration: 6-7 hours

Today we will be reaching Gosakiunda, the main point of our trek. you will start to feel the change in the plants and trees as the elevation reaches at 4,380 meters. Overnight at Gosaikunda.

Day 5 : Trek from Gosaikunda (4,380m) to Dunche (2,100m)
- Altitude: 2,100 m
- Duration: 6-7 hours
- Accommodation: Lodge

We will be returning back to Dunche this day, after experiencing the Gosaikunda lake's full glory in the morning. We slowly return back while taking notes of what we had left behind in the trail. Overnight at Dunche.

Day 6 : Drive from Dunche to Kathmandu (1,350m)

Today we ride back to Kathmandu. We start our ride in the morning. After reaching Kathmandu we will drop you at your respective hotel.

This day will be manged per your decision, whether you and your team will be freely roaming around the hotel area or taking a tour with our city guide. A Farewell Dinner will be Hosted.

Day 8 : DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU

Our staffs will be helping you to reach the airport. You will be dropped at the airport on our reserved vehicle.
