The Kingdom of Bhutan is a landlocked country in South Asia. It is one of the most beautiful country to spend your holidays. From the scenic mountains and hills to the cultural qualities of the country, Bhutan stands out as one of a kind. The country is based on Buddhism. Bhutan is landlocked between Tibetan Region to the north and Indian region to the south. The cultural aspects of this country catches the eyes of many tourists, which makes them want to revisit the country. Bhutan is also rich in primate life with rare species. The alpine habitats of the great Himalayan range in the north are home to the snow leopard, blue sheep, marmot, Tibetan wolf, antelope, Himalayan musk deer and the Takin, Bhutan’s national animal. Bhutan’s highest peak, at 7,570 meters above sea level, is north-central Gangkhar Puensum. The third highest peak Jomolhari stands at 7,314 meters and nineteen other peaks exceed 7,000 meters.

Receive at the Airport by your personal guide and driver. Drive to Thimphu. The drive is 55 kms and it takes around 1hrs and 30 mins time. On the way we will stop at Tamchoe monastery built in 15 century. After that we proceed to Thimphu, the capital city. Then we check into the hotel, a brief talk about the tour, the culture and tradition of the country. Visit the institute of 13 crafts, folk heritage museum and have Lunch, after lunch to the Takin reserve to see the Takin, which is Bhutan’s national animal, and. Visit the big Buddha statue and enjoy the bird’s eye view of the capital city. After then Visit the Tashichoe Dzong .Back to the hotel, evening leisure time on your own. Dinner. Overnight Thimphu.
Early in the morning we visit the Budha statue then start our journey to Punakha after Breakfast. It’s a 2 hours drive. On the way we stop for tea at Dochula pass (3,140 meters) where we’ll see 108 chortens perched on the mountain side with the view of the snow capped Eastern Himalayas at the back ground. Further in the valley we stop at Chime Lhakhang which is the fertility monastery for Lunch. Early in the morning we visit the Budha statue then start our journey to Punakha after Breakfast. We start our journey to Punakha Further in the valley we stop at Chime Lhakhang which is the fertility monastery for Lunch. Time to stretch our feet and take a walk through the paddy fields to the temple, get blessed with a giant phallus!!!!! It is a great village walks (1 hour) and then visit the Punakha Dzong . Which I am sure they will really enjoy. Evening to the hotel. Overnight Punakha. We will visit the Punakha Dzong. Evening at the hotel. Overnight at Punakha.
After Breakfast early we take a walk to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten perched on a hill from where you’ll see the Punakha valley. Along the walk we’ll pass through the villages and see the villagers in their daily lives. The walk will take us around 1.5 to 2 hrs. After then back to Thimpu and stop for the lunch. After lunch we will visit Bhutan Gov. Post office and Memorial Chorten, after then we start our journey back to Paro. Overnight Paro.
After a breakfast we drive to the base of Tiger nest(Tak tsang) Monastery. We will hike up to the tigers nest. The walk will take around 3 hours to the monastery. After visiting the temples, we’ll return back to the cafeteria for Lunch. After lunch we will return back to the base where our Minivan/vehicle will be waiting and Drive to the Nishoka Memorial Chorten and Kitchu Lhakang built in 659 and Paro dzong, paro valley. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at Paro.
After breakfast we drive to Chelela pass 3,999 meters, the pass is the highest motor able road in the country. The drive will take us through the lush green forest, 2 hours drive to chelela pass .then a mini hike for about half an hour to witness the panoramic views of mountain regions. After that we will return by car/Micro van to paro and visit the impressive Ta Dzong if time is available. Picnic lunch at the pass or Pack lunch. Visit Ta-dzong which houses the national Museum. Evening at leisure at Paro Bazaar. Overnight Paro.
After breakfast your personal guide and driver will drive you to the airport. Wishing you a safe flight home.
